I am a trainee!!

It's hard to be one of the model platoon, I should be a generous and responsible enough to show to everyone that I really belong to this unit and show to them that I can do what others can. I will show to them that I have something to be proud of and that is to be with this unit.
I rather choose to be disciplined and learned more than to dance with the group without learning something that I can treasure for the rest of my life. I can really say that I am lucky enough for being a member in a unit that is different to others, knowing people that are not so familiar to me and to be disciplined with our facilitator Mr.Alvin Cafe that inspires me in every words he says, those words that encourages me to be more strong in every training and not to quit because "Quitter never Wins".
I have learned so much with him in just one day and one of this is our motto"what you see, what you hear,Leave it Here!!"
I am really expecting for a changes to myself that Mr.Cafe assures to us..

God Bless us All!!!

Two Is Better Than One - Boys Like Girls

Who Am I???

In philosophy , identity (also called sameness) is whatever makes an entity definable and recognizable, in terms of possessing a set of qualities or characteristics that distinguish it from entities of a different type. Or, in layman's terms, identity is whatever makes something the same or different.
Who Am I??Its a question I can hardly defined because each person will change according to their own lifestyle and wants. I can hardly says who really I am but I can say that I am a sweet, loving, emotional sometimes but a jovial type of person who laughs aloud most of the time, who hanged out with friends anytime I want and a simple girl who wants to be happy every time I face the world that fulls of challenges. I am a person who stands strong to face problems and never gives-up even if it really droven me crazy on how to solve that problem.
I value those things who are really important to me, those things which made me happy:Television, my cellular phone, and my room.
People I value the most are my Family, my Friends and those people who see the real me, and people who are real to me.

Keys To Success

Many young people find themselves disoriented and confused. Others know what they would like to do with their lives, but don't know how to get there. Whichever the case may be, there is a need for orientation and guidance. This can be found through parents, teachers, and close friends that we trust.

Can AIDS be prevented?

Yes. Cases of ADS related to medical use of blood or blood products are being prevented by use of HTLV-III antibody screening tests at blood donor sites and by members of high risks groups voluntarily not donating blood. Heat treatment of Factor VIII and other blood products help prevent AIDS in patients with hemophilia and other clotting disorders. There is no vaccine for AIDS itself. However there is good reason to believe that individuals can reduce their risk of contracting AIDS by following existing recommendations. Communities can help prevent AIDS by vigorous efforts to educate and inform their populations about illness, with special emphasis on educational activities fro members of high risk groups. Meanwhile, the effort to produce vaccines and drugs against AIDS continues.

A Death Sentence

When the AIDS virus has passed into the blood of the recipient, any of the following may occur:

1. The virus may be destroyed by the body's defenses and disappear, leaving no trace of it's existence. This does actually occur, though infrequently.
2. The organic defenses may be strong enough to delay the development of the virus, but not yo destroy it. The person is apparently well, but he eliminates the virus through his body secretions. Yet his blood reads positive when tested for anti bodies. In the United States there are an estimated 1 to 3 million people in this category. A large percent of these will suffer the AIDS illness in coming years, after a period of incubation.
3. The illness may become obvious, but not in it's most serious form. There are an estimated 100,000 to 500,000 persons with the disease in this stage in the United States. Many of them will eventually suffer the full effects of AIDS. The most obvious symptom at this stage is the swelling of lymph glands in the neck, armpits, and groin.

The Risks of Premaritak Sex

Guilt Conditioning. A well-intentioned boy and girl usually feel ashamed of themselves after they have indulged sexual intercourse. They may apologize to each other and promise that the indulgence will never occur again. Or they may rationalized their conduct as excusable because they are sincere and expecting soon to be married. But once a boy and a girl have yielded to each other outside of marriage, their mutual respect is never as strong or their confidence in each other as great as before. This loss of respect may even cause them to terminate their courtship. but even if they marry, they will find that the pleasures to which they had to look forward have lost some of their appeal.

Islam

Ramadan (Arabic: رمضان‎ Ramaḍān, Arabic pronunciation: [rɑmɑd̪ˤɑːn]) (also written Ramazan, Ramzan, Ramadhan, Ramdan, Ramadaan) is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. It is the Islamic month of fasting, in which participating Muslims refrain from eating, drinking, smoking, and indulging in anything that is in excess or ill-natured; from dawn until sunset.[1] Fasting is meant to teach the Muslim patience, modesty and spirituality. Ramadan is a time for Muslims to fast for the sake of God (Arabic: الله‎) and to offer more prayer than usual. During Ramadan, Muslims ask forgiveness for past sins, pray for guidance and help in refraining from everyday evils, and try to purify themselves through self-restraint and good deeds. As compared to the solar calendar, the dates of Ramadan vary, moving forward about ten days each year as it is a moving holiday depending on the moon. Ramadan was the month in which the first verses of the Qur'an were said to be revealed to the Islamic Prophet Muhammad.

Colorado's "Hottest" Slopes

Leave It Beaver
(Source:"Enrich" By:David Bowden)
The ski season for most Colorado resorts lasts from late November to April, so now's a good time to book flights and make your plans. The sun shines on over 300 days even in the depths of winter. With summits of almost 3,500 meters there's some great snow coverage along lengthly runs surrounded by corridors of pine trees. There are 148 trails at Beaver Creek with ski fields covering an area of 730 hectares. With over 600 percent of the runs being devoted to beginners and intermediate skiers, Beaver Creek is just perfect foe those new to the sport. However, expert and advanced skiers will find the black diamond runs as demanding as anything else in the state.

Whiskey Business

What is whiskey?
(Source:"Enrich" By:Chris Champion)
Whiskey is aged grain alcohol. Fermented from malt or grain, it is distilled and aged in wooden barrels. It starts out clear, and gets its color from aging in wood. Sometimes, the spirit is filtered; sometimes other ingredients such as neutral spirit are added.
The first records of the distillation of barley are from the 13th century, when the resultant product was considered a cure-all medicine. It was used as an ointment as well as a drink.

Why Horse Bob their heads??

I have read on a book that Horses cannot focus their eyes the way humans do. They have to change the angle of their heads if they want to see close objects clearly. That's why they bob their heads up and down as you come near.

Titanic Dream Fulfilled

Ocean Education
(Source:"Enrich" By:John Dizon)
Three years before earning college degrees in chemistry and geology at the University of California in Santa Barbara, Ballard worked part-time courtesy of his father on what turned out to be a failed effort to build a submersible named Alvin at the ocean systems group of north American aviation. After marrying, he worked on a doctorate in marine geology at the University of Southern California before being drafted into three-years, active military service. He served in the U.S navy as an oceanographer, liaising with the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution in massachusetts, where he continued working following his U.S navy tour. There, he persuaded scientists to fund and use Woods Hole's Alvin for undersea research. Four years later, he received PhD in marine geology and geophysics at the University of Rhode Island Ballard's first dives were routine--a field-mapping project of the Gulf of Maine to determine the structure and topography of the ocean floor and collect samples from the seabed; an unsuccessful French-American expedition which searched for a hydrothermal vents spewing black smoke from the Mid-Atlantic ridge; and a second attempt that took accurate temperature readings of 350 degrees Celsius (662 degree F), confirming the existence of this "black smokers".

The Unconvention Center

Not your Usual Bed and Breakfast
(source:Enrich magazine By:Kara Santos)

In the heart of Davao City is a hotel, conference venue and art gallery all rolled out into one.
Ponce suites, aptly called "The Unconvention Center", features the work of vibrant artist Kublai Millan, well known for his infusion of larger-that -life sculptures in and around Davao City.
Tucked within a residential village, the family-run ponce suites is just one in the long list accomplishments of Millan, a graduate of Fine Arts from the University of Philippines (UP) in Diliman.
His sculpture of a family emerging from a durian right outside the Davao international airport is one of the first slights of the city. His monuments of heroes stand in front of the Sangguniang Panglungsod Building and San Pedro Cathedral, while a massive eagle and carvings of LUMAD people decorate the people's Park, with its fruit-shaped dome and pine trees. Millan's sculptures spread all over mindanao, from a 75-foot buddha guarding the border between Bukidnon and Davao, reaching as far as Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao, Lanao Del Norte and Camiguin. The Cotabato-born artist draws inspiration from a variety of subjects, including folklore, the environment, urban myths, Mindanawon culture and current events, creating his own distinct style.

My Treasure(Tribute to friends)
"FRIEND is the only treasure I should be proud of..."
I can really say that friends are my treasure. They are the only one I can rely on in times of falling, when I need someone to cry on, someone I can run to in times of needs and someone I can cry and laugh with. They are the first person who understands you, willing to do anything to help you and to keep you calm.

I HAVE TO FORGET YOU!!!

If only the sea waves can ease...
This shity feeling that droven me crazy
If only the wind can wipe
This pain in my heart that always failed me

I never felt like this before
you're keeping my heart crying and bleeds into the core
You made me crazy every second, every hour
and made me realize that I was a fool

I never thought it will come up into this
Into the moment that you don't care at all
and to the millions of people ,
I keep on thinking why is it YOU???

You have that mind of an immature person
But still you made me in prison
and I don't understand why I have this feeling for you
All I know is that...
I HAVE TO FORGET YOU....

I've lose my bestfriend

One thing in my life that i can't really forget. I have a friend since grade school and we've been friends for almost 3 years , almost 3 years of sharing laughs, sharing moments, exchanging thought and ideas, laugh together and cry together. But, one time, in our relationship that i can't understand what she's acting with me. She never explains why she's angry with and that's why I cried out.
But then again, she don't cares at all, one line she said that stays fresh in my mind "OA"(Over Acting). That really hurts me the most when I heard that.
Now, I am happy looking that she's happy with her new friends and I have also my own.
